E&C Behind the Business - Getting to Know Shannon
Today is Shannon's birthday!! And since we are celebrating Shannie, we thought it would be perfect to do anotherShannon currently lives in San Francisco with her husband living the typical city life! Shannie is the third oldest - smack dab in the middle of our family. She's got a personality like none other from random dance parties and constant laughter to just being chill.
Q: What took you to San Francisco?
A: My husband was offered a job here in SF, so after we both graduated from BYU, we decided to move out here and give the city life a try. So far, so good :)
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I do marketing for Banana Republic. My office is downtown, and I have a spectacular view of the Bay Bridge right from my desk! I never thought I’d love working in corporate retail so much.
Q: How did you and your husband meet?
A: My husband and I met our sophomore year at BYU. We became best friends, suffered through the same classes together, and hung out almost every weekend. We started dating about a year later, and then got engaged probably 6 months after that. I love that we started out as best friends. We make each other laugh and have so many of the same interests. I’m convinced it’s because we took so long to get to know each other as friends before we tackled the whole “relationship” thing.
Q: What is your job on E&C?
A: I oversee all the social media sites for E&C. I love having a connection to all our followers, and answering their questions and what not. It’s been fun to see our followers grow over the past few months, and I’ve loved getting to know many of you!
Q: When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
A: Bake, take pictures, make movies, blog, and of course shop online.
Q:What is your biggest fear?
A: Spiders. Hands down. Everything always comes back to that: I’m afraid of the dark because I’m afraid that a spider will find me. I’m afraid of being alone because then I’ll have to face off with the spiders by myself. I’m just scared thinking about them!
Q: Is there anything you wish would come back into style?
A: Platform shoes. Or Lizzie McGuire’s style. I always wanted to be just like her when I grew up.
Happy Birthday Shannie!!
I'm with you: bring back Lizzie McGuire!
